Steem Power Solar: light for Bali evacuees thanks to Steemit

After 2 months of receiving donations & writing posts from the @charitysteemit account myself & @chron have been able to raise over 9M IDR for the purchase of solar kits, to give the Balinese evacuees renewable energy lighting (which will last for a minimum of 25 years) and phone charging capabilities too.

This film documents the day we handed them out to the people who need them the most.

Tahun 2004 terjadi Tsunami di Aceh, saya berada di sana, sungguh sebuah bencana alam terhebat dalam sejarah kebencanaan gempa dan tsunami, jadi sedikit banyak saya tahu apa yang dirasakan oleh masyarakat Bali saat ini. Semoga saudara kita di Bali diberikan ketabahan dan kekuatan.
