In this Majority Report clip, we watch Roy Moore spokesperson and Shelby County commissioner Ted Crockett appear on CNN with Jake Tapper to discuss swearing-in on the bible. The Alabama elected official goes off the rails, telling Tapper that Muslims cannot serve in public life because they would not uphold their oaths since they're swearing in on the bible--a book that is nonessential to them. Tapper blows Crockett away when he tells the Shelby Co. commissioner that you do not need to swear into office on the bible. In fact, you don't have to swear in on a religious text at all!

Speaking of such of the great and holy book is blasphemy but swearing with the Holy book I don't really like the idea..

This was hilarious; almost as hilarious as that district court nominee. For god sakes, I could answer most of those questions correctly (never tried a jury trial or federal case ☹️)... How the heck does a federal district court nominee have ZERO deposition experience???
That being said, I am in no way surprised that a Trump nominee does not know how the federal courts define a qualified expert.
(Edit) it would appear as though I've gone on a bit of a tangent. Thank god Roy Moore and his posse are leaving the public eye; as funnt as this video is, its scary how close this guy got to being able to influence Congress!
