A Russian shock-artist, welcomed as a hero and granted political asylum in France, is now at the centre of a political scandal: French lawmakers are demanding Pyotr Pavlensky be returned to Russia over his arrest on suspicion of posting footage that brought down President Macron's candidate for Mayor of Paris. At the moment, pavlensky detained over a knife attack.
