Saw the Movie, Joker, with my Wife and it was just too Dark for Me...
I would have thought it was halfway decent if they tied in more of the character with the Batman Saga. They did a little with Bruce Wayne as a little boy and references to Gotham City. But not much else.
Just a mentally ill stand up comedian who spirals downward into violence and macabre.
I'll give it a 5 out of 10 stars.
Some may love it and appreciate it. But I will take a pass on any second viewing of it !! lol

I have read about it and seen the previews for it and I am just not sure that it is something that I would want to see. I think that we have enough going on right now in the world that the timeliness of this movie is just a little bit off. Maybe if they can find a way to tie it into mental health issues and people getting the help they need, but other than that it just seems like a huge trigger.
