Platform built on top of Steemit for photography portfolios? [analogous to DTube]

So @heimindanger created a decentralized video platform DTube on top of steemit, that is having some success, especially in the age of complicated algorithms and ads. Vero Social also did something similar, although more as a competitor to instagram, and doesn't leverage blockchain or crypto.

With sites like 500px and all these others that have various subscription models, I'm wondering if a photography portfolio adaptation as a platform built on top of steemit would also be a swell idea?

If anyone has any input or thoughts on this, or knows of anyone working on something like this, please let me know in the comments!
