DTube Snap#15: Box Hill
I went to Box Hill in Surrey today. Based in Surrey Hills, deemed an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
I desperately needed some nature therapy and the hills were calling me
Needed some time to unplug, recharge and reconnect with myself
I didn't want to think about work or responsibilities, and I wanted to just have fun
I had an amazing time just chilling in nature. Literally chilling because it was pretty damn cold.
In between the chilling, I decided to film a few shots, take a few pics, and make a video. For once, not a vlog!
I wanted to start exercising my creativity in filming and "directing", and I had so much fun
It was also a good exercise in practising angles and movement
Also I just wanted an excuse to use the awesome mobile video editing app I found, "Quik". I've used a few and this one I really enjoy using!
I know this is kind of "cheating" editing because the app does a lot of it for you, but hey, if it's going to get me to enjoy the video editing process, then I can build it up from there right?? ;)

Ahhh stunning our country has some cracking spots we all fail to enjoy; instead opting for abroad 💯🐒
So many! Tbh somewhere like the highlands or Lake district would have satisfied my nature therapy needs much better, but Box Hill was good enough for a quick fix ;)
Sure I am planning a cycle in the highlands this summer can wait! The lakes are only an hour or so drive from me so get there when I can also the peak district stunning 💯🐒
I love Boxhill 💖 Nature can be a great strength and is good that you took the time to walk and breath. The video is really cute, keep letting the creativity flow 🤩

i checked it out was cool, the more you shoot, the easier it get's. you'll have to head up to midlands in the summer time for forest walks here! we have great forest! cheers.
