THE OFFLINE OPEN MIC CONTEST ORGANIZED TO EMPOWER THE YOUTHS AND PROMOTE STEEMIT

Good evening, its been awhile when we the minnow school have been visualizing the offline open mic and our vision finally came to reality even if its not in a big way at least we have started something. i'm @raymondbruce the founder of steemit extention and the co-founder of the offline minnow school.

The open mic took place at a meetup organized by steem9ja which the offline minnow school was invited @bait002 my partner and the founder of the offline minnow school introduced the idea and we started the offline open mic instantly and gave out SBD to the people that participated .

ABOUT THE MEETUP

On Saturday being the 10th of March, 2018 I attended a meetup organized by @steem9ja in the university of port harcourt, if I must say it was a nice one. I went as an official of steemit_extention and the offline minnow school.
The meetup was all about teaching minnows how the system works, register new members and let people know about steemit.

CONCLUSION

i will say the meetup was a big success and we hope to organize more meetups and open mic contest to empower the youths and decentralize the offline.
