Steem can be frustrating during this time. A couple of months ago I looked back at what took place with the run-up of cryptos in 2017. As the run-up took place steem did not start its move until toward the end of 2017, well behind the top coins.

I cannot say it will unfold the same way this time, but I am trying to stay hopeful until later this year. Maybe, just maybe steem will begin its rise like it did last time.

Like any investment it is best to be well diversified and not depend on any one coin to "take you to the moon". It is hard to stay unemotional with investments of any kind but it is what is needed to be successful. Buy quality and hold. With steem I try and maintain that there is a lot of potential so I have continued to increase holdings up to the present. I have stopped because I am trying to maintain a balanced portfolio.

In the meantime let us all enjoy ourselves, meet new people/friends, and keep learning.
