D-Tube Wednesday: spectacular views of southwestern Tenerife

Welcome to my D-Tube Wednesday series where I share my videos taken at interesting places that I have visited during my travels.

Today, I will take you to the wonderful Canary island of Tenerife.

Occupying a total land area of more than 2,000 sq km (785 sq mi), Tenerife is the largest island of the Canary archipelago and one of the most beautiful and diverse islands in the Atlantic Ocean.

Before we settled down in Puerto de la Cruz in the northern part of the island, we spent some time in the Adeje area in the southwest. This region of the island is not mountainous as its central or northern part but you can still find some nice hills with great hiking trails there.

Here is a video that I took during one my hikes in the Adeje region. I am not really sure but I think the little town captured in the footage is Adeje or Fanabe. Originally, I wanted to hike up to the top of the "table mountain" that you can see in the video but it eventually proved to be too far.
