We take over AI and use it for good as we do with the internet. That is what we do. We take over the bad stuff and turn it into a good thing. We either take it over or we lose and the AI takes over us like it did in the Matrix.

I love the iRobot comparison here. As good of a movie as it was you would hope to believe in the people who create AI to form a potential defense if anything like this were to happen. AKA farmers know their cows the best.

I am so happy you took the conversation further on Dtube! That's what I appreciate about steemit compared to other platforms, it feels like a genuine conversation.
It's funny that you mention transhumanism as a mean to an end, some people thrive in the simplicity,the little things in life, a walk in the forest, making a fire, hunting/gathering food, having a roof over your head..Some people are enjoying their lives in a more stripped down version of themselves. The same way people were living a 100 years ago , but with the benefits of modern medicine. Some people prefer using AI as a life assistant and it's fine with me too.
I think you would enjoy the writings of "Jacques Fresco" and the "Venus Project", he has in mind a futuristic society where machines, humans , and nature live in harmony together to em-better us a whole.
if we manage to reconcile both of these worlds. we can make it as a specie.
