Dave Ramsey and Mutual Funds

Dave Ramsey is well known for his "7 Baby Steps" of financial freedom and insistence that individuals avoid debt at all costs. While Dave has many dedicated supporters, his insistence on using mutual funds instead of index funds puts him at odds with many other financial gurus. In this video, I will give a broad overview of Dave Ramsey's book "Dave Ramsey's Complete Guide to Money". More importantly, we will take a detailed look at why Dave Ramsey advocates mutual funds. We will start at a basic level and describe the concept of a mutual fund. Later, we will discuss the pros and cons of mutual funds and why you may or may not want to include them in your investment portfolio. Everything here is simply my opinion, do your own research.
