Poverty I believe is one of the major reasons why many are found behind bars.

Poverty to me is not just the lack of funds to carter for basic needs but also the lack of hope for possible funds.

Poverty is more of a mindset than a way of life.

I've seen many gnash their teeth's as a result of this unfavourable phenomenon. While many starve to death, others die of diseases.

Poverty occurs due to ; bad governance, unemployment, diseases, war , etc.

Through steemit, poverty could be totally erased and done away with.

Over 9.6% of the world live in extreme poverty and over 50% of the world possess a mobile device.

This means there is a 99.9% chance that if steemit gets to everyone, poverty will be eradicated.
