Absolutely correct. While having a lot of Steem power makes you attractive to a Commenter waiting for a payout; it is not the best way to manage your money. While the SBD will get you about $1 worth of Steem, there is no limit to how high it can go. That being said, for someone starting out with nothing to lose, it may be important to build some Steem Power, but once you reach a certain level, it's time to change strategy to make better use of what you have.
