Fingers crossed, then. YT has a habit of randomly spitting out some of my uploads - citing incompatibility issues. Videos that were shot minutes apart on the same camera. Granted the camera is old, but you'd think it would be all or nothing for uploads. Am hoping D Tube will resolve the roadblocks...
Great taking us out with you. I like the DTube I just hope they fix some of the kinks. It stops and goes. Well, youtube had a lot of kinks in the beginning also. They will figure it out after awhile.
First off I think I heard the limit for the time being is 150mb, but I may be wrong. Second and super important, always use Handbrake to compress before upload (even on YT). I use it every time for years. Knocks the files to about a third of the original. https://handbrake.fr/

Yeah it will be interesting to see if D Tube can scale up coz I think it can become pretty popular!

I got as low as 290mb - which I suppose is pretty big still. I can't decide if I need to encode it differently.

Start stop Start stop. 2 minutes to get through the first 15 seconds. They've got a long way to go before they are viable alternative.
I just watched it again and played right through without a hitch. May be a function of how far you are from the servers or your internet speed...
Download speed is usually between 85-90 Mbps so I don't think that's it.
