RE: They Arrived in 3,000 BC ~ Drone Footage of Drogheda IRELAND

@exploringirish, what is the law governing the use of drones in your place. Here at mine, you have to register with fees around $500. Really makes it hard, some people want to even use it for agriculture but the cost and all isn't worth it.

Hey Oladokun,

In Ireland you currently only need to register your drone with the IAA if its over 1kg. With my drone I don’t have to register. The main and most strict law is you are not allowed fly any drone closer than 5 km from any aerodrome. This is a bummer for me as I live very close to the main International airport. I would never even risk flying here. Just wouldn’t put peoples lives at risk.
In general areas you’re not allowed fly above 120m unless you get permission. Strictly speaking, you are not aloud fly over urban areas such as villages, towns & cities however this rule is broken a lot.

Have fun flying!
