DO WE HAVE A FIGHTING CHANCE AGAINST THESE ESTABLISHED CENTRALISED PLATFORMS
This is the question I found myself asking recently. Most times when we think about steem as a project we think cryptocurrency but what we are trying to build here is even bigger than the crypto sphere. We covering social media, gaming, e-commerce, etc So it's more than wanting the price of steem to go up. We want what we are building here to have value. So my question to you guys today: Do we have a fighting chance against these centralized platforms and why?

We absolutely have a chance and ultimately an advantage as the power of many is more than one as decentralized alternatives will be the secure and transparent way to get things done in the future. Not sure if you follow @taskmaster4450 but he just wrote about a Google cloud alternative that is a great example of the potential. At the end, it os the community that provides value.

you forget one thing these giant company's were small too just give steemit a chance to grow and boom somebody's gonna make a video saying if there platform can stand a chance against these huge old decentralized crypto social media sites like steemit
