How To Make Popcorn Chicken Recipe

Crispy popcorn chicken is a fun and bite-sized snack. This crunchy popcorn chicken recipe is the perfect comfort food and is so quick and easy to make. Crunchy popcorn chicken is also perfect for kids snacks or even served alongside a main meal. This fried popcorn chicken recipe will fast become one of your favourites.

Ingredients:

500g Chicken
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Black Pepper
1 Egg
1 tbsp Corn Flour
1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
200g Plain Flour
100g Breadcrumbs
1 tsp Chilli Powder

Method:

1. In a large bowl, add the chicken
2. Combine with salt, pepper, egg, cornflour and cayenne pepper
3. Set aside for at least 30 minutes
4. In a large plate, mix the flour, breadcrumbs and chilli powder
5. Coat each chicken piece with the flour mixture
6. Deep fry the chicken popcorn for 3-4 minutes on each side
7. Serve immediately and enjoy with a dip of your choice!
