Dtube Sndbox contest - My Creative Process
Hello everyone!

Thank you @sndbox for putting on your competitions... these last couple of weeks have just been amazing.
We live in an extremely crowded and intrusive world... we are being entertained constantly, there is always new informative, new social media notifications, new e-mails...
The thing is, I've found that I just can't live in that world and be creative at the same time... it's not just creativity, I can't solve problems if I'm constantly entertained or distracted. I'm really getting into running because it gets me away from the rest of life.. and I try and spend time every day just thinking... and that's were creativity comes from... it comes from daydreams, and quiet...

i must say since 1 week before christmas ... i turned off all notifications on my handphone by accident and i kinda LOVE it ! no more message beep every 5 mins .... its insane how distracting that mobile device is. Since then when someone wanna talk to me they will actually call me instead and at least i know its urgent .. else i'll only check my messages once every 2 -4 hours .

I'd love to know how many messages, notifications are actually urgent, and how many are just a distraction. I once did a Digital Feb Fast which meant I basically didn't look at screens at all, except for at work, or for 30 minutes each day... it was absolutely incredible how much time I got back in my day. It was hard, but so good.
CREATIViTY is something that can't be grown whenever you wish it to but it definitely grows upon how you take things. From each thing we can squeeze out "Something" and the way we squeeze that "something" varies from person to person and that varied method depends upon CREATIVITY.
And yup if we do involve in the day to day activities we can still squeeze those stuff and still be called Creative. The point is how interested we are to bring out new thoughts / ideas / different ways to solve a problem etc.. That defines how creative we are.
Look in each task there's a good part n a bad one , now its up to us how we deal with it.
We must obstruct the distractive stuff and to do that OUR INTEREST to be CREATIVE rolls in..

I think creativity can be grown, but you need a few of the essentials first before it can flourish... I reckon you need some imagination, some quiet time for that imagination to get to work, and some interesting problems to solve...
Love the point about being creative in day to day life... that's something everyone totally overlooks... genius man!
