NIGHTONE |Ep. 2| Rolling in the Deep
I hang up the phone. It was a tough call. It’s late, but not late enough for me to sleep. Too much to think about. The manners of the heart are never easy, especially if you get in with good intentions. But of course, when it’s over, is inevitable to think “Why?”
Adele’s voice reflects disappointment and power, with an air of vengeance. After the love is gone, or at least what you thought it was love has vanished, you can’t help but to reflect on one word: Manipulation.
The manners of the heart are never simple. Love and hate are too close to each other. Turning your sorrows into gold is the epitome of success. But it always comes with that bitterness that reminds us of where we were, and what it took for us to learn that lesson.
When it’s all said and done, only time will fade the irrefutable thought: “Think of me on the depths of your despair”.
