Yes just by express yourself you will start to come closer to what you want to do because you make it into a reality that you are living. Just by expressing yourself in Speech, Audio, Text and Video you are ahead of the majority! I like this that you said: "Look for voids that you can fill with your own efforts. You can't find your voice if you don't use it.". So many different voids that we can fill in this limitless universe. Because once we start to explore it some more we realize it has no depth! Bottomless hole hahah.
