VIDEO: Solving DTUBE Problems For Easier On-Boarding Of Vlog Steemians!

Hello Steemians,
There is something that has been bordering me and many other steemians for quite a while now. That's the issues that relate with making a D-Tube Video. Sometimes it could be quite difficult.

PROBLEMS & SOLUTIONS:

1- Problem Of Uploading:

• It helps to clear your cache. That may actually solve over 90% of the problems
• Use a high-speed internet connection. The longer it loads, the less likely for it to upload.
• Shorten your videos. 2-5 mins tops. Anything longer may cost you an eternity for uploading.
• Use a light-weight thumbnail picture.

2- The Problem Of Sharing Video:

• This one has to be fixed by the DTube Developers Team.
• We want our videos to automatically embed to Steemit posts just by pasting the links.
• That way it gets easier to promote the site as well as the final product.

3- The Problem Of Upvotes:

• Even though we shouldn't be making posts while expecting an upvote from Dtube account, we still do. Lolx
• To curb this problem might be a little bit tasking.
• I'm suggesting that the Utopian model might work out.
• The use of moderators, curators etcx to find quality content videos may be a big plus for DTube.
• This helps prevent upvotes from just being hapharzardly distributed.

4- The Problem Of Trending/Hot Videos

• DTube can help Steemit fix its issue by bringing up the concept of categories.
• Instead of lumping everything at one place as trending/hot/new/promoted, we can distribute videos based on categories.
• Eg Videos with #cryptocurrency tag should be in one place. Then within this tag, sub-categories like hot/trending/new can then be featured.
• Even Youtube groubs videos according to categories.

5- The Problem Of Views Count:

• Thinking about it critically, you will quickly findout that its not everyone who views your STeemit posts that actually watches the video attached to it.
• One of the ways of reducing this mismatch is already in No. 2 above.
• The other ways would be to monitor video views and count it separately from STeemit views.
• Every Videographer wants to know whether people actually watched his/her video.

It is my sincere hope that @Dtube and its team will take a look at some of these suggestions to make scalability easier.

I know that development and coding are difficult tasks. I only ask this because its the desire of all Steemians to see a better product that can compete with the very best out there (in this case Youtube). Financial incentives aren't just enough. The product too must be up to par.
