What My Channel Stands For

in #dtube7 years ago

“Today’s video is a little bit different than what I normally film but I believe that I should talk about what my channel stands for.

First, if you’re new to my channel welcome! My name is Melissa van Dijk and I’m a makeup artist.

Most of you might know that I’m sharing tutorials, live streams, and product reviews that I am really passionate about. Moreover, I believe in education and that’s what I want to represent on my channel. Showing how you can apply makeup, how products perform and interacting with my followers in live streams is my way of sharing and teaching my skills and developing personal relationships.

Why am I doing tutorials?

Makeup can be really overwhelming, which is why I want to explain my tutorials in steps so that anyone can easily follow them. I am continuously learning new techniques that work for me, and I want to share them with you as well. On top of that, I share tutorials that are suitable for real-life situations. Meaning that you can take what you’ve learned from my tutorials and wear them out in public without fear of looking like a clown.

Whether someone is going to school, work, etc. these tutorials are ideal for everyday wear. Just make sure to remove your applied makeup at the end of the day for optimal skin health! Like you would with your high heels, take your makeup off at night for a feeling of incredible relief and satisfaction.

Why am I doing reviews?

Doing reviews about makeup and skincare products is also something that I am very passionate about – getting to know your products and what works for you is just as important as the application process. The better the product and the interaction with your skin, the better the final results will be.

For complete transparency, my reviews are, of course, based on my own personal experience, skin type, tone, and daily makeup products being used. Also, all of the products being reviewed are paid for by me to ensure that I can be completely honest about it.

However, I don’t share how long a product lasts on my face when reviewing it. Since this really depends on skin type, climate, and activity levels, it doesn’t make sense to me to share my personal experience as it will be different for everyone.

Melissa! I'm here again! Back in the road ha ha ha. What I like about u and ur channel is that you absolutely LOVE what you do, and I can feel that. Surely, I'm not the only one. In addition, it is because you love it that you probably will never stop doing reviews. That's what I think.I hope it was a good coment hehe. Kisses from Spain. Bye.
