80 year old stone structures in the foothills of the Sandia mountains in central New Mexico
A short video on the rock structures in the foothills of the Sandia mountains in central New Mexico. These structures are close to 80 years old and were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 30s and early 40s. The government put people back to work making improvements on US forest land as well as other areas. They actually paid individuals not corporations to do the work. A novel idea we could use today.
