Hey everyone! Greeting you from a wet sweet smelling day in the Ozarks.
I journeyed to the creek to collect some Rivercane and noticed the witch hazels are flowering! January 1st!
(Upon further research, this is normal! They’re also called “winterbloom”)
We also have many trees down due to the many rains and the creeks have been mostly flooded lately.
Many sycamores have fallen, little seed balls hanging just so
a large Oak fell from our land onto a fence into the neighbor’s pasture, pushing another tree with it!
Wishing you a cheerful and grateful New Year. May 2019 be beautiful and satisfying for you. 💗💗💗
