Marketing Tips for Vendors at Homesteader’s Co-op
You’re just minding your own business scrolling through your Steem feed when all of the sudden... bam! You’re hit with a beauty explosion!
Such happened to me today when I saw the strawflower photos @sagescrub posted & has for sale on @homesteaderscoop.
This is our very own, no transaction fees charged Steem economy. Where others have talked about doing it, we are doing it and you can go there and read the reviews of many happy customers.
Their post led to me making a few purchases today! Don’t underestimate the power of a post and beautiful photos!
Recently we’ve come to the conclusion that in order for Homesteader’s Co-op to thrive, we need to hear more stories from the vendors, we need to see photos of their products and witness vlogs and blogs about what they have for sale. In short, we need more marketing! It takes a community to make a co-op run.
In this vid, I walk through some of my own process being both a customer and a vendor on Homesteader’s Co-op.
Naturally after I published a new product up for sale, I would make a post about it. I’m encouraging you to do the same! Take your most gorgeous photos, your heartfelt stories and reasons for selling your product in the first place and why it matters to you — and make a post about it. Or a vlog. That’s all!
This is a You Build It, They Will Come Strategy, except it’s You Post It and They Will Buy.
You may have a great product, but the buyer needs to know about it in order to buy it!
A good strategy is to make a post soon after you get your product up. You can put your product description right in your post (you’ve already written it so it should be easy) and just tell people a bit about it. Make it simple, but tell your story. People love stories of connection or how things are made. Don’t be shy! Share til your heart is content.
Help build the movement and join in! You Post It and They Will Buy It!

Awesome you've done this.
Except - are we ever minding our own business on the blockchain? Lol....
Heheh touché! I should say innocently scanning my feed ...or stalking my friends, whichever sounds better
Stalking, definitely ;P xx
