Hey @markeverlasting , maybe you misunderstood the competition rules. It says: Upvote this post with a minimum value of 0.01$ OR with 100% of your voting power (whichever represents smaller value). So if your maximum vote is less than 0,01$, upvote with 100% of your voting weight (sorry, not power) would be enough! ;)
So, basically anyone out there could participate in the competition. Hope I am being clear enough
oh sorry, yea I didn't have 100% upvote because I had commented on another post, so my power was 98%, so I wouldn't have been able to upvote at 100% or am I still not getting it? facepalm even if I have 98 voting power can I still vote 100%?
You are still not getting it correctly mate )
You have a voting weight, which you can regulate via the applications like Busy, or you would be able to do that on Steemit when you reach 500 SP level. And then you have a voting power, which you mention you had 98% at the time you wanted to participate in the competition. Those are two different things. So for you, a simple click on upvote button, would have done it and I would receive your full vote weight upvote! )
