Steem is interesting platform, but comments here show the dark side of steemit too. On this platform you will get many comments and spam from curration bots. People commenting just to comment (and possibly get some rewards). People are commenting thanking each other and asking them to comment, upvote their articles in exchange. Many authors also just create content to earn rewards instead of focusing on giving something useful and this leads to low quality of content and posts full of spam, gifs, refferal links to all possible steem and daps etc. This is very disappointing, and if you want good quality articles you have to search really hard here or go to sites like medium.com. Unless the upvote/comment mechanic changes the quality of steemit will not move forward significantly :-(. Please do not take this as a critique of the article, it is actually nice summary.
