Trump vs Obama: A Brief Look at Their Economic Scorecards.
In this report, I cover the early market action from London on March 5th, 2019. I look briefly at the precious metals, the stock market, the dollar, the bond market and the price of crude oil.
Today I try to sift through all the propaganda and look at the data and see what it is telling us in terms of how well President Trump has done in comparison to President Obama.
I first look at the Top 5 Presidents in terms of the percentage increase to the national debt just to show that it does not really matter what party is in power as the national debt keeps increasing exponentially.
We hear from many Trump fans that the economy is doing great and how the unemployment rate is at historic lows and how the stock market has done so well. So I decided to compare the Obama and Trump administrations by the numbers like unemployment, the stock market, and the debt.
My conclusion is that there is not much difference between the two and that one needs to dig under the surface and not buy into all the propaganda on both sides of the political spectrum.
