I mean we all know that you have to be an utter idiot to join the army or the police, but this is (again) a demonstration of what a bunch of brainless losers they are.
Kokesh was in the military. Most of them don't even consider their job's implications, or ask themselves the questions that Kokesh bravely asks them now after being in their shoes. Commendable.
I didn't know that about Kokesh. But yes, I think you are right that almost none of them thinks about the implications.
