Propane Nightmares - Pendulum (cover)

in #dtube8 years ago

Another cover from one of my Pendulum favourites. I don't know why but I love to do acoustic covers of their tracks because they sound completely different!

:D

Something's tearing me down
And I can't help but feel it's coming from you
She's a gunshot bride
And her trigger cries
I just wonder what we've gotten ourselves into

In a trail of fire I know we will be free again
In the end we will be one
In a trail of fire I'll burn before you bury me
Set your sights for the sun

Mind is willing
Soul remains
This woman cannot be saved
From the draw into the fire

Mind is willing
Soul remains
This woman cannot be saved
From the draw into the fire
Anything to

Bring it on home
Bring it on home
Bring it on home
Bring it on home

Much too weak to jump yourself
Heal the wounds or crack the shell
Lift yourself from what's below

Much too weak to jump yourself
Heal the wounds or crack the shell
Lift yourself from what's below
Raise the anchor

Bring it on home
Bring it on home
Bring it on home
Bring it on home

In a trail of fire I know we will be free again
In the end we will be one
In a trail of fire I'll burn before you bury me
Set your sights for the sun

Bring it on home

wow love the lyrics, you are doing amazing xD

Haha thank you, I can only take credit for the singing though as I didn't write the song. It's a great song though and the original is totally different if you haven't heard it yet!

Love it Lucy, still prefer your cover of Florence and the Machine though :)

Keep these coming.

Thank you @spiritualmax! Yeah I reckon Florence and the Machine style music is a little more suited to my voice but I thought I'd give it a shot at doing something completely different. Thank you for your feedback!

Another great song you've recorded and shared with us.

Thank you again @qsounds! I need to draw some inspiration from your blog and find some artists to cover!

I suggest Hooverphonic, although it'll probably not easy to cover them. Maybe Lana del Rey? Do you know ABBA? Not my thing anymore, but when I was young I heard them so many times, my mother was totally into their music. Would be fun to hear that. Another track I listened to a lot when I was young (probably because of the animated video clip about a rabbit) is Bright Eye by Art Garfunkel. More recent: maybe Katie Melua for instance 9M bicycles in Being is a song I kinda like, maybe because in my little country (the Netherlands) we have so many bicycles :) But what about the oldies, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and those?
