Take two hike
The other month I was supposed to come hiking here at Caoling in Yunlin county. However it was raining that day and we had to abort the walk. We went to see a waterfall and and a weird place up in the mountains instead.
Today we did we came back to do a take two on the Caoling hike. It was a very pleasant walk that involved ascending nearly 500m to 1795m ASL. Luckily the ascend up was in the bamboo forest and there were steps all the way, but it was still quite hard work. Apologies for this part of the video being a bit shaky as I had to hang my Go Pro on my rucksack. Coming back down was no easy feat either. It was very humid up in the mountains and very shady so the path was quite slippy. There was a section coming down which was pretty much vertical and I had to scramble down on all fours. That was fun! Hope you enjoy the video!
