What a truly educational post in many respects. I'm relatively new to the crypto scene but yet knew something of Segwit as it is inevitable to come across when learning about innovations into and improvements on cryptocurrency tech. However, after reading this post, it really put into perspective how Segwit and other developments play into the implementation of future improvements upon efficiency. It's easy to get lost in the technical lingo pertaining to operating mechanics when researching cryptocurrency and its technology, but this provides a much needed basic context essential to understanding some of the new developments being put into place and their resulting impact.
