What a Wonderful World es una canción jazz de Louis Armstrong el tema nació en 1967, como una respuesta a los turbulentos años 60 que vivió Estados Unidos. Era un canto a la esperanza. En pleno desarrollo de la guerra de Vietnam, a la que la Casa Blanca sumió a un pueblo que todavía no había olvidado la Segunda Guerra Mundial y la posterior contienda de Corea.

El tema nos habla de la importancia de valorar las cosas insignificantes, aquellas con las que tropezamos en nuestro devenir diario. El optimismo impregna cada uno de los versos, con la esperanza de alcanzar un futuro mejor para los bebés que nacen cada jornada. Un tema clásico que nos hace ver que nunca todo esta perdido y que la esperanza siempre esta ahí.

Sabías que en 1987 la canción formó parte de la banda sonora de la película Good Morning, Vietnam. Desde entonces es un himno al bienestar de la persona, por lo que es constantemente elegida por otros artistas para versionarla.

In full development of the Vietnam War, to which the White House plunged a people who had not yet forgotten the Second World War and the subsequent struggle of Korea.
