You cannot self vote on every comment you make, period. You don't upvote content creators at all just yourself, why would your comment deserve to be worth more than the actual post in some cases?

Look people vote for other people and get support on their post. Its not like the guy self voted to 34K by himself. People will vote for you if you vote for them, its normal.
