Lago Atitlan is such a magical place. I visited San Marcos last year (a friend lives there and supports the local midwives) and I had a truly fantastic month. On one condition: you have to get used to the too large amount of hippies, yoga, dreds, and psychedelics :)

Oh yes, it's lovely there. Their patio with a lakeside view is one of the best places to be in the village. Have you been staying in San Marcos for a long time already? Maybe you know Hannah then. Anyway, nice talking to you. Apparently there are Steemians in every corner of the world!
