I had a somewhat crazy thought this morning about if Steem (the currency) can break $100 USD by the end of 2018. I definitely think it's a strong possibility seeing how big the growing community is and the times and transactions that Steem can handle.

I’d assume more by 2019, but if that happens it would be a dream come true!!
It's definitely why steempower is the most important asset at the moment.
More SP --> More Control over who earns the most SP --> More SBD to buy back more Steem and thus accumulation more SP

Thanks for the post @kevinli, I'd love to Steem touch over a USD 100 by the end of this year 2018. I guess it also depends on how large the steemit community grows further for the prices to rise so much, don't you think so?

Keep in mind, Steemit is still in beta. When it becomes more widespread, people might buy more steem so they quickly convert it into steempower which will drive up the price of Steem even more :)

It's a definite possibility. I would keep holding and accumulate interest from my steem power and watch it grow even more. Steem is a game-changer.
We have some very lovely paydays coming this year I reckon. 2018 shall be the year of the alts.

That would be huge. Hopefully Steem can pick up enough traction to start appealing to mainstream audiences and crypto investors alike.
It's already happened! Being no.1 daily transactions will benefit it greatly

According to my prediction: for today trading STEEM is in the range of $ 7 USD. If every month the increase is 80-100%, STEEM in the range of $ 100 or even more.
