Bicycle Lane in Nongkhai, Thailand
Traveling along in a Tuk-Tuk, I saw these two cyclists traveling along the bicycle lane just outside the evening market at Wat Tad-Klang-Nam. They looked very fit and strong for their long journey. I had no chance to ask how far they have cycled and I wonder if they had been cycling in Laos. The direction they were going would be towards Bueng-Kan which is a very nice little town full of abundant nature: forests, lake, water falls, caves and hiking trials.
หลายเดือนก่อนเราเจอนักปั่นจักรยานสองคน ที่ถนนนอกตัวเมืองหนองคาย เขาปั่นได้เร็วมาก เพราะเราต้องบอกให้ตุ็กคุ๊กเร่งเครื่องแซงขึ้นไปหน่อย ตอนแรกเขาปั่นไปเร๊วกว่ารถของเรามาก แทบไม่น่าเชื่อว่าเขาจะมีพลังขามากขนาดนั้น เราอยากถาว่าเขาไปลาวมาหรือเปล่า แต่คงไม่มีโอกาศคุยด้วย ท่าทางปั่นแบบจริงจังมากๆ ทางที่เขากำลังไป เป็นทางจักรยานที่สวยมาก เราคิดว่าเขาคงปั่นไปบึงกาฬ เพราะเป็นสถานที่ที่สวยงามมาก ยังมีธรรมชาติให้สัมผัสหลายอย่าง ทั้งป่า แม่นํ้า ทะเลสาป นํ้าตกและถํ้า
เราเกือบจะโพสวีดีโอไม่ได้ ต้องลองหลายรอบ ดีทูปเป็นอะไรทีไม่ค่อยเสถียรเลย เพื่อนๆลองเล่นบ้างไหม เราว่ามันช้าและสะดุดบ่อยมาก

I didn't know bicycle lane existed in Thailand i thought everything was taken up by motor bikes...haha !!
Oh! There are bicycle lanes in every province! But they are not used frequently so other traffic and people start to make use of them!!

They should have them in Bangkok but it would never work !!
Now that's something you hardly seen in Thailand bicycle lanes no way they will soon be motor bike lanes , over taking lanes and whatever else Thai's will come up with...Head Lines in today's NEWS.... "Two Bicycle riders on the bicycle lane were flatted by a Truck driver" RIP
Hahaha! It’s happening now!! Crazy Thai people! We have a very disorderly culture but we try to adopt all things which depends on strict rules!!
