They are all tied together in one way or another. It's a small world. I don't think that is a factor. After all, the Kaiser, the King of England and the Tsar were cousins who spent their vacation together somewhere in Bohemia (=Habsburg). It didn't hold them off to allow an ever devastating war a few months later.
