Check your weather, great tip! I actually dealt with the same issue, but it was rain. I have some plants halfway through flower, and it started to pour here! Luckily there not very big, and I was able to bring them inside over the night to dry.
I have been pulling my plants under the roof of our back porch when it rains. It is actually pouring right now. Thinking about transplanting into the big pots/raised bed tomorrow though. If I do, there will be no more rain protection for them until the end of the season.
