Good topic today. I like that idea of 'more adoption' rather than focusing on mass adoption. Small steps still take you on the journey.
It is through dApps and other applications that people can use, not just talk about, that we will see interest grow. Fill a need/want, and you will find the audience to use it. Build it, and they will come! :)

The importance of having engaging Dapps is that they could provide the doorway to the ecosystem which could lead to more usage of many throughout Steem. While I steer clear of gambling myself (because I like it too much), I have seen the potential in Magic Dice as similar Dapps on other platforms have grown quite substantially. I have been considering delegating to support the initiative.
