Great cryptocast as always! Yes, I agree. Every company, regardless of what type it is, needs something to make it stand out. Otherwise, they get lost in the shuffle and people won't be drawn to them. This also applies to personal branding. My own branding is getting some traction but it takes work and effort = consistency (one of our favorite words lol).
That is awesome about BNB. I will have to take a peek at it and see what it's all about ;) Thanks for a great show!

I touched on this subject of leader or brand (or both) dilemma, in one of my posts. Some organizations are better with strong, visible leaderships, others become better by building strong brands.
I think we should work on improving the brand of Steem, seems unlikely we will have a leader figure to represent Steem.
I agree with you Steemit management/CEO should have have a constant presence on their own platform. I don't have a Facebook account, but I just looked out of curiosity if Zuckerberg has one, and he does. Highly active. Are we to assume he is not busy? No, but his page is most likely managed by someone else. Also, CZ, you talked about him in the show, he has a constant presence at least on Twitter. Is he not busy running Binance?
the Steem facebook account hasn’t had an update in months. it’s just insane to see the potential being left wide open.
if they don’t wanna run it i will gladly help out.

I'm not buying CZ... Don't believe in anything that he say...
I will take an opposite side about "face of the cryptocurrency"... The people always search "that man" who will be at charge... Why? It is the same thing like in politics... Why do I need to know politicians? I just need that they do they job and make my living better.. I have the same view on STEEM... I would rather see great dApps "owners" everywhere and quietly running STEEM blockchain in the back... Doing it's job...
Does BITCOIN have "face in front"? No... And that is the MAIN reason why it is where it is... Generally, people don't trust the guys like Roger Ver, Justin Sun, CZ and others... We should be de-centralized... and if you have ONE FACE in front of the cryptocurrency that is the same thing as we doing last 100 years...
Do you know who invented coffee? Do you know who is the biggest producer? Well, it is the same thing with crypto... It's great, it works and we should use it, regarding those big fat whales... They will take care of themselves either way... ;) Actually, I like the coin even more if I don't know "that face"... That's why I LIKE STEEM. Don't take that away from me :)
Blochain is REVOLUTION and we shouldn't ruin this opportunity!
those are very good points. i just don’t think the everyday investor cares about decentralization as much as we would hope they did. they do care about brands. and silly things like that, that may not be important in the future.
i would just like to see people with major influence on steem be out there more on other social media platforms talking about how good we have it here.

I agree... If those people are with major influence... That is totally different thing than self-promoting that those "coin owners" are doing... C'mon, the guy shows up telling that he is Satoshi and want to put copyright on BTC... Loool... And people swallow that and buy his coin... Unfortunately, if that is the majority, we are doomed :)
Promoting your project built on blockchain is totally legit, stealing something that belongs to ALL is totally stupid, selfish and bad...
There are amazing people out there with great knowledge and ideas, but it is very often the case that they are not "loud" as they should be.... So, we hear only the echos behind "those BIG faces"...
I still believe that blockchain tech is changing the world and it is much bigger than some people...
