Most times simple is best. Inside the towels should just get sun bleached and not deteriorate that fast.
This January we threw down on a new double slider for the end of our house that faces south. The old window we had in was such shitty glass, the new stuff blocks SOOOO much heat. It has been well worth the investment for us.
