Well what a nice Monday surprise! Welcome to the Monday family! Nothing better than bringing together the folks from 2 of the most fantastic foodie competitions on the Steem blockchain. 😉 A triple F invasion of FAVM is absolutely welcome, haha.
That juice looks totally killer. I love beets. I actually just made roasted beet hummus before I popped back online. That garden, though. I've got major green thumb envy! Sorry you lost the first round of starters, but hopefully you've got plenty more goodness growing. I would be pumped to have that many strawberry plants to pick from. I think we're headed back down to the local strawberry u-pick farm again tomorrow to load up even more while they're in season here.
I will be excited to see once all of those flowers start bearing fruit! Maybe that will make for a future FAVM entry...😜
That juice is my favorite!!! Apple, beet, carrot, broccoli stems, and celery. Honestly that juicer is one of the best investments I have made. I need to get some frozen blueberries and freeze some bananas and make some sorbet. The top of the juicer changes into a sorbet machine. DELICIOUS!!
I think I am going to end up with about 28 strawberry plants in all. That should be enough... but I doubt it. Lol. I have some carrot boxes that I need to make that are extra deep. Last year I had some HUGE carrots.
I have never been a huge beet fan but juiced with a few other items... oh ya!!!
I feel like I have a split personality... @ FFF I am always posting the BBQ meat I make, now I am posting fruits and veggies like I am a vegan or something... HAHAHA
Thanks for for the warm welcome and I will see you this Friday in the Food Fight Friday Arena. 😉
Oh man, a sorbet machine, too?? I might have to look into that. I've held back on getting a juicer because my boyfriend might kick me out of the house if I bring one more kitchen appliance home, but if it pulls double duty I might be able to sweet talk him, haha. Do you do anything with the pulp after juicing? I know I've seen @birdsinparadise make some great things with her pulp, but curious if you use yours, as well.
Life's all about the balance, right? FFF you're all pumped up and ready to party for the weekend, and then Mondays it's reigning back in to start the weekend off with a squeaky clean colon. 🤣🤣
We just picked another 6 gallons of strawberries from the local farm, so I would imagine I'll have plenty of inspiration to share something on Friday...
What a wonderful entry! You have a lot going on my Friend and I am amazed, especially with all that juice and the colorful foam. I would eat it with the spoon, lol. That's all we need to cure cancer and all diseases! I also wish you good luck with your garden and I look forward to see the progress 🌿🍓🥦🍅🌱
Yes I do, I often think I have too much going on... oops. Lol. I really try and mix the foam into the juice but sometimes one glass will get more than the others. Oh well what do ya do. I try and make a big batch of juice and try to drink one a day. Most of the time it is every other day but at least I am getting some. I love the way I feel after a big glass, rejuvenated in a way.
Hopefully my body can keep up with what my mind had planned for the garden. After work I am going to try and build some special boxes for my carrots, really deep. They have to be raised because the crab grass takes over.
@jlsplatts, your garden is amazing. Gardening is a lot work, but you get such great bounty from your hard work. If I had the skill, time, and energy I would love to have a garden. I will have to pull out my juicer and make some juice, but the veggies and fruit will be from the grocery store. Welcome to #fruitsandveggiesmonday.
Time... I need more of that. I am honoring to be able to make my favorite juice just by walking outside and grabbing what I need. One day it will get there. I am really anxious to see if my trees start producing fruit this year.

I am sure you will manage. The juice will give you energy to keep up with everything. Good luck and keep us posted 😊
