Freedom means you are free to live breath and have the right to speak without any extrrnal pressure.
While respect means admire (someone or something) deeply, as a result of their abilities, qualities, or achievements.

In your interpretation, everything is as you say, @jeronimorubio.
In my dictionary a definition of Freedom as the ability of the individual to determine their life goals and to take personal responsibility for the results of their activities (encyclopedia of philosophy).
What dictionary do you have?
It was the dictionary right from Google online. I just typed "Freedom" into the Google search and it was the first to pop up. But it is also the same idea in Merriam Webster's Dictionary and a few others.
I think that Philosophical Books or Dictionaries will have a different way of defining what the word means because philosophy is more based on feelings and opinions of others. Thanks for your kind words @behelen. May You and Your Family Always Live in the Abundance of Happiness, Peace, and Love.

Freedom is being able to do what you want to, so long as it doesn't disrespect the rights of others. For example, I deserve to be ale to walk up hill, or walk and talk in general, hold a basket out in front of me... Respect is have enough intelligence and reasoning to understand that everyone deserves it.
I think that freedom is the right to do what say, think and do what you want to. Being respectful is to make sure you don't offend or disrespect others. As far as freedom goes.
