Project Vlog #19 DTUBE/ HOW LONG SHOULD YOUR DTUBE VIDEOS BE?
Let's talk, is there a specific length that your videos need to be in order to perform? Should they be short and sweet? Should they be long and informative?
On youtube, because of SEO, some people swear that videos need to be more than 7 minutes because of retention time which is used as a metric in ranking. However, do we have these metrics in Dtube? How I see it is that the metrics that Dtube has is New videos and hot videos. But how does Dtube recommend videos to you? do they do it randomly or do they use a certain metric?
As far as I know, I have seen short and long videos both being successful on the platform. What do you think? Let's talk.
