The Experiment - Youtube vs Dtube vs Facebook
'How do I make money on YouTube?'
That was the question most people asked me in 2017. Well, work related anyway. So, last year I started posting regularly on YouTube and noticed it was really worth learning more about.
Then, near the end of 2017, Facebook made a push towards competing with YouTube and launched their own creators platform.
And finally, with me getting more involved in crypto and as a result more interested in Steemit, I learned about Dtube.
Because I have no idea which one works better for what, I'm starting an experiment. I will post daily videos on all 3 platforms, with the following rules:
- I'm not allowed to advertise on any platform
- I'm not allowed to promote the post on another channel like Instagram, LinkedIn or Snapchat (5+k following in total)
- I will encourage viewers to choose the platform of their choice, to limit cross following which could influence the statistics
After one month. I will evaluate the result, based on views, likes/votes, comments, shares and of course, revenue.

Hooray to infancy, lot's of room to grow on steemit and dtube. And a strong community can certainly speed up development.
