Getting to Know Shanghai - East Nanjing Road - Episode 1
I recently decided to take a leap of faith (so to speak) and made a big move to China. Uprooting my life and career and relocating to the World's largest population, 3rd largest land mass and booming economic nation.
As I am brand new to China and my host city of Shanghai, I decided to start producing a video series to highlight some of the things I come across in the city. Things that most foreigners might not be aware of. Things like the world-famous Bund, Chinese culture, misconceptions and just everyday life.
My hope is to present daily life in Shanghai through a foreigners eyes, (leaving political ideologies out of it) and just take a look at my new home and maybe even spotlight my new company.
The videos will start with a brief company logo, as we are an education company promoting learning, I feel it is a great way to promote learning about the city of Shanghai and also China in general.
Please give me some feedback, let me know what you think of the video, give me some insights on ways to improve going forward and also suggestions about things you would like to see me cover in the future.
If you would like to learn more about my company and what we are doing in the education and technology industry, click on the link to find out more:
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the video.

Nice to see you settling down ! It's a nice time now during springtime, weather in July and august will get extremely hot so make sure to enjoy the outsides now :)
I can reccomend a restaurant called Grape restaurant : 55 Xinle Lu,
near Xiangyang Lu
新乐路55号, 近襄阳路
That neighborhood is called the French consession and the architectureakes you feel you are in Europe - a very cool area to go to
Wow, Shanghai looks neat and clean!! I always checking China towns when I'm traveling, but I haven't had a chance to go to China yet! I'd love to visit one day! Thanks for sharing the video! :D
You should definitely come for a visit. I think it is a lot different than what people think. I was worried too about the pollution, traffic, garbage etc when I first arrived, but thankfully it has been better than I thought. There are still many problems and air pollution is a major concern, but I think it’s much cleaner than most people think.
Here is a picture out of my window office, not at all what I would’ve expected before I came
Wow! What an adventure and big change! This will be interesting to hear about :)
Looking forward to exploring
