The only drawback I can see for people who get featured is that they are less likely to have their actual video upvoted, since people have watched it already. I appreciate that every post is linked, offering a chance to check it out themselves, but most people will move on.
You may consider grouping videos by categories, like 'creative' or 'scenic' or 'humor' or whatever
As this gains popularity, I could see upvote awards given for 'best in category' or something like that.

As you have understood, I only use videos that are real contents of steemers. My idea of zapping and there to put this forward and give the possibility to the authors of content to be seen a second time; and hope to have new "upvotes" and "followers"
