I skipped forward, the second half is outstanding, I am not sure what it had to do with the first clips. Agree. I saw it yesterday and thinking back I remember the sports injuries but I (almost) forgot the point you wanted to make. It is high impact, but it is also unnecessary, not related and overshadows your point. You could show injured and dead US soldiers returning home, casualties of US bombings, new war widows as they hear about their husband untimely death. Those things are also high impact, but they are directly related to your point.
I recently saw a US general who lost his son in some battle talking about what he called the deaths of "US finest" and he casually mentioned that he was to blame for the death of some of them. I am sure you can find that video, dissect it and show the world what a disturbed mind is behind that.
