When the United States SEC approves bitcoin ETF, which I think they will very soon, BTC will spike to 100 000 easily. The big institutions are just like rats around that piece of cheese called Bitcoin! they are just waiting for the ETF to get green light.
That is a bold claim. I don't hear many tales of rich people wishing they could buy into Bitcoin but for some reason can't. More often than not the edict from the top of the pyramid proclaims that blockchain will go to zero, wastes energy, funds terrorism, etc.
In the event of an ETF approval I expect massive overhype and overspeculation with a swift pump and subsequent dump.
Hi @edicted, I subscribe to the same thought process, except that I believe when BTC dumps it would not go down to the previous low but somewhat higher.
If they accept ETFs crypto space starts to turn like the traditional stock markets because the big investors and banks will control everything. Hopefully ETFs never come and institutions and banks will leave this space but this might be doomed hope.
